I was wondering how much the prop is effecting the speed control and hole shot results with the extra weight...

I am going to be upgrading my ballets system this winter for surfing in my X10. Will be using 1100lb in each v-drive locker and a integrated bow sac worth about 600lb. I don't think I will be able to get the full weight out of these sacs but will be nice and heavy! I am wondering how my stargayzer perfect pass will handle the extra weight with the stock prop. I will be very interested to here your results with your system.

Ive got a 4 blade but no idea of the number, ill jump in today and see if i can read it. my prop needs to be overhauled this winter due to some nicks also. 2200lbs is huge, plus full fuel thats close to 2500. Im on lake conway in orlando and when im loaded up and drive into shallow waters, the bow lowers and the speed jumps 5 mph in a second, a perfect pass system would have a hard time i would think.

I have a 98 Marastar 225 and was wanting to put a barefoot boom on it. Does it take a boom special built for a Marastar or V-drive, or do most just use a conventional straight boom?
Thanks,
Bill

Gotta love the pic of Sierra Nevada. Good ol Chico brewery, complements the maristar well.

Hey Shane21,

I noticed you have a white bimini. How do you like it? I like the look of them but wondered if the light gets through it and how hard it is to keep clean.

thanks,
B
