You should be able to find one easy in that price range. I got mine for $15k and had to spend about $2500 to get it up to speed.

As a 2 time owner of a Maristar ('01/230 and '05/210) I can tell you that you won't be dissappointed in performance when it comes to ride or drive. I prefer the 210 due to the fact that it's a little bit more nibble and easier to manage around the dock and launch ramp, but I can confidently say that you won't be dissappointed in function for guests or riders. It's the most comfortable ride on chompy waters and provides a high enough gunwhale for passengers to feel safe inside the boat. Some of the sporter boats are lower to the water line and have a tendency to make passengers feel vulnerable. There are a few good used ones in the market, but don't typically last long due to demand. Good luck with your search and make sure you post pics on this thread.

We had it parked on the beach of Lake Powell. While on a hike a HUGE wind storm started so we ran back to secure the houseboat that was moving out of control in the wind. we then looked over at the MC and saw that 6 foot waves were crashing into the back of the boat filling it with sandy water. There was sand everywhere and the boat was a total loss..

This was taken in 2007. 1999 Maristar 230 with the "old school" X30 graphics package from 2007. Such a great boat!

Looks good, can't tell it's a 99 with the graphics. I like the trailer
