The 8mm wires that SkiDIM are great and look awsome in my opinion. I have them on my boat. Blue is a Ford color.

Here is a picture. Sorry it isn't the best but you get the idea.

I recently picked up a set of 8mm silicone wires from DIM in yellow. I'm not sure if that color suits your fancy, but they are great wires and on sale.

You may want to give them a shout to see if they have a few sets still in stock, as the item was discontinued and DIM picked up remaining inventory.

My valve covers are blue, but I'd go with the Taylor wires if only because that's what came stock.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Thanks PeteS, it was a lot of work. There is another thread that I started chronicalling my project in engines/drivetrains that has many more pictures of it from build-up to install. You should check it out.
