Vinyl Tear Repair

I just recently noticed a small quarter inch tear on the back seat of my boat and I'd like to fix it before it becomes a problem. I would appreciate any words of wisdom on how to complete this repair. Thanks in advance for your help!

From my experience on another boat and a jeep, as supposed, it doesn't work too well.

It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Better try an upholstery shop for suggestions.

Duck Tape come in all colors now. I did a temp repair on my snowmobile seat 2 years ago and it is still holding up fine. Besides it will give your boat the tptool look.

Clear wet suit cement. Try a dive shop. Works like a champ.

I've got a small like 1/2" tear on top of the motor box I'm not sure what it's from. But, that interior is almost 20 years old (older than Erk... ) A friend of mine has one in the same spot. Anyway that cement works really well. The main thing is just to keep it from tearing any further.

Wish I'd known that. I've got a few that I stopped with epoxy. Works well at holding them, but it turns yellow. I've got replacements for all of those skins, but I want them to last a while before I put the new ones on there. Just some little nicks here and there.
