Unhappy 2007 197 TT Damage

So how bad is this boat?

Alot of people have been bidding but just wondered how much damage was actually done and how much work will need to bring it back

I really like these 197s and am sad to see this one..

man... i would speculate that its completely fixable... those gel cracks look deep which would lead me to speculate there's more serious fiberglass damage... i'll be honest i just cringed...

To get it back I am estimating $10k in fiberglass repairs, plus parts replacements. When structural fiberglass is wrecked, it gets pricey. Also, think of what needs to be removed to access the transom damage...

RUN away... Sad to say, there is far more damage there than meets the eye.

man, that's ugly... I think the fiberglass work alone would be close to the same as what the bid on the boat is. You will need to remove a lot to fix the transom damage. That being said, I posted an ad for this model of boat awile ago that was listed at 50K, so there is potential for BIG savings here. Good luck.

I can't stop looking at the pictures... WTH would a person do this? Figure it was going to be repoed so the person wrecked it?

well for under $16k it might be a good investment ... especially with an LY6.

Curious .. what kind of a sight is that?
