Buying a truck out of Canada???

I'm looking at a truck across the line in Canada. Anyone have any insight into doing this??? Is it worth the hastle, costs, hoops to jump thru, etc....???

Did a google search and read some about them needing to meet US emissions, and something about needing to wash the undercaraige so no dirt comes across. Also the DOT needs to be involved to some degree. It's starting to seem like too much of a PITA.

I don't think the odometer reads in MPH but instead in Kilometers. Remember there is a difference in money about 1.30 Can to $1.00 US dollar. You may have to pay certain taxes to import the vechicle into the states in order to get a state title. Kentucky has a use tax that cost 6% on what the value NADA. So be aware of the details before you do it.
