EFI on LTR Engine

According to the 1999 owners manual it states that my LTR has "Marine Electronic Fuel Injection--Direct Port Type". Can someone tell me is this the equivalent of throttle body fuel injection or is this a multi-port fuel injection?

It's my understanding that the LTR was a multi port fuel injected system with the Norstar ignition. The standard 310 hp engine in 1999 was a throttle body injection unit.

Yup. I have the LTR - it's Multiport. Coming up on 800 hours and still going strong.
