trouble removing the flame arrestor
I tried to remove the flame arrestor from my 1994 350 EFI engine the other day . I removed the hose leading to valve cover , bolt and the plastic cover but the housing of the flame arrestor would only lift up about 1/4 inch , felt like it as caught / hung on something . I did not want to force it . Any ideas ?

Mine gets snagged a little on the wiring to the fuel injectors. I reach under, push them out of the way a little, and continue lifting. If you move the flame arrester towards the wires, getting the opening around them, it helps some also.
EDIT: By "EFI", I assume you mean "TBI".
