Surfing behind two boats

This weekend we had a videographer spend a day with us filming a documentary on midwest water board sports. We used a chase boat to do a lot of the filming. My daughter fell out of the wake on one of the boats but since we were right beside them we caught her in the spine created by the two boats. Kayley was turned around when she fell out of the wake so she was riding backwards. She had no idea what was going on but she sure was excited. She road the spine again and was able to bury herself in the foam and then propel herself forward out of the foam. This was an exciting thing to watch.

She has an extensive resume. Last year she was the AWSA Women's Amateur National Champ. This year she competed in the Open division against the top three professional women surfers in the world and finished third. At the World Championships this year she finished third in the junior men's division. She rides for Calibrated Wakesurfing and is team mates with the best women's wakesurfer in the world.

WOW...That is really cool. Your daughter obviously has some crazy skills with some cool pics to go along. Keep up the good work dad! I'm sure you're extremely proud.

PWTXstar, the Texas Wakesurf Championship was a great event. It was the best competition of the year. Definitely planning on going again next year.
