So a tanker goes and crashes in Sydney yesterday.
http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/two-killed...001-2uqcw.html
Local road safety groups are outraged. Which triggers a blitz on all tankers by the road safety authority. They check all tankers on the east coast of Australia and find a large majority of trucks in New South Wales and Victoria are unsafe and take them off the road. This in turn triggers panic buying, so now -no fuel for me!

$3.39 in St. Paul. Dropped down to $3.25 for one day and I was thoughtful enough to fill up when I saw that.

Diesel being more expensive the gasoline is another joke as diesel is made from a lower form of crude oil.

All these prices sound like a bargain. I saw $4.59 for regular today in San Francisco. I paid $3.95 for regular on Sunday to fill the boat.

It's probably the tax thats put on it, diesel and LPG in France are significantly cheaper than petrol due to the lower tax placed on it.

The way things are going here in the UK and France it'll be close to $15 per gallon soon, so that'll cost close to $350 to fill the tank of the 205

I agree. They know that the trucking companies all need it and will buy it, so why lower the price. Taxes certainly have an impact but I don't understand why it should be taxed more than regular gas. All about supply and demand and politics I guess.
