Gift for pilot

I know there are some GA pilots on here so here goes-
My father in law is a commercial airline pilot.
He has recently started flying for fun regularly, part owner of a hopped up Cessna 172 and Citabria.

What is a good gift for a recreational pilot that he may not already have as a 25 yr commercial veteran?

Good suggestions. He already has noise cancelling headsets and the Cessna has great avionics.

last year I got him some very nice safety wire pliers (he does some maintenance on the Cessna himself).

Any more ideas?

Cell phone boosters are nice for pilots if he doesn't have one - raises the ceiling for him. We use ours often on short flights at lower altitudes.

Buy him a year subscription to foreflight app for ipad. Throw a cordless bluetooth gps antenna on the front dash and you have an instant glass cockpit. Not really legal for IFR but if he has 30 years in the cockpit he'll know how to use it and stay legal. Depending on the antenna purchased it can be a great backup if he is only running a vacuum attitude indicator.
