Tower speaker install

Just bought a set of these for my zero flex mini tower on the 07' 197. Anyone here done an install that can shed light on wiring/mounting?

mounting will be the toughest part because those are not 07 speakers/cans.. If you plan on not using the drop down mounts then it won't be as hard. All towers come pre wired from the factory so look down by the stereo and see what color wires are there and connect em up!

Lenny, my 07 mini is still the XTP tower. They did not switch to the new school mini on the 197 until the 08 model year. Here is a pic of my tower. I'll look for the wires up top a little more, but so far I'm not seeing anything through the slots.

Here are the slots I'm referring to. Are these the mounting slots for the old school stuff? If I did get the wrong ones, looks like they'll be in the market place soon!

Maybe I'm wrong about the tower being wired. I thought you had the new style. Now I have no answers. Sorry man

My 02 X7 did not have a pre wired tower. I ran wires up the left side similar to the factory light wire on the right side. It wasn't hard. Just required taking the tower off and a little drilling.

wear a hard hat when you install those looks like they will sit low on the tower
