stereo question
I have an 06 197, with the Jl audio sub and amp. Just recently the stereo has begun to cut out even at low volumes. If I play with the two rca jack under the passenger seat it comes back. I am not good with intermittent electrical problems and this is annoying. I want a permanent fix, any ideas???

If the RCA plug is bad, you can replace it but the molded kind are better for wet environments. Stinger has some good ones and they aren't terribly expensive. Don't bother with Munster Cable. Substitute a known good cable and see if the problem goes away before replacing anything in a permanent way. If there's a lot of stress on the connectors, eg the cable is at a right angle to the RCA jack and it's pulling down, relieve the stress and make sure the RCA fits snugly, but not too tight.
