New surfboard

Well, she arrived a couple days ago. Can't wait to ride her Thanks to Mike Walker at www.thewalkerproject.com for building me a custom 4'8" F-18!

Hope to try it out soon. Supposed to be 100 for the next couple days! Only negative thus far is it doesn't fit in the MC board racks like my blue lake does. It will fit in my port storage compartment though. I might have to buy a surfboard rack, any suggestions?

Finally had a chance to ride her today. Amazing board, super responsive, spins like a top! 10 times better than my Blue Lake, which is a pretty good board.

I need a board and know nothing about them. What to buy and where? Sorry for the thread jack.

Nice looking board sand.

TX- After riding this board, I would look into a Composite X 5.0 from The Walker Project. It you're below 170 lbs, get the Composite X 4.5. I found them here, the cheapest for $299. Also, can't go wrong with an Inland Surfer Blue Lake, but looks like they're $200 more expensive at $495 a pop.
