We're not "surfing" yet...

We're not "surfing" yet... but we're having fun- Check out the video of our first try. This was behind my "Bouyhead" friends '96 PS-190. It's a borrowerd old school surfboard & we have no idea what we're doing. Luckily my 7 y/o has the right attitude.

I'm glad... as you can tell we had fun doing it.

Can you imagine what it was like when she tried to explain this to her teacher when she went back to school in September.

I bet. I had some pics of my son upside down on his wakeboard that his mother (my ex) was a little concerned about when she first saw them.

Man I can't wait for summer. How do you think little K will feel about the nickname "Ms. Unstoppable"?

Jersey? Long Island? Looks like that kind of water.

Seriously, be careful with the point on the surf board. I know a surfer who fell and the point got him in his eye.....it was bad.

I was able to talk my 4 year old daughter into getting on the surfboard with me once last summer. It took a lot of convincing and she was not interested in it after that.

Thanks, I think that was a rubber tip, we didn't have that board for long- we subsequently borrowed a bigger board.

After a bunch of research we just got a Hyperlite Broadcast 5'6".

That pic was taken on the south shore of Long Island- Nassau county, off of Merrick.
