Perfect Pass ?????

I would like to install Perfect Pass on my '96 205 w/LT1. I was wondering what components I would need if looking for used equipment. I've seen several displays and master modules for sale, but what other parts, wiring harness, etc. will I need and wheres the best place to find them ?

Basic RPM: Master module with 6.5ng chip if it's a wide display (anything lower if not). Servo unit with throttle cable extension. Wiring harness. Display.

WB Pro or Trick. Add Paddle wheel.

Digital Pro Add Smart timer magnet sensor.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

You might be able to find parts on the internet. Some folks are selling components because they upgraded to Stargazer. You can always contact skier-to-skier or perfect pass and ask for the components you are missing. Since you aren't sure what you need, you should first download the operator/installation manual from the perfect pass website. That should help significantly.

I just installed it in my 94’ 205 LT1 a few months ago. I paid $100 for a used MM 6.5ng unit and everything else I bought new from SkiertoSkier.com

Total cost was $626 for the whole system. I got a new, 3 line gauge that matched my cluster and all of the wires and Servo were new. Great peace of mind for a decent price. I primarily open water slalom so I did not get the paddlewheel or magnets. I’m not after qualifying times….just consistent pulls.

It really has been an excellent addition and I would highly recommend it! My wife loves it too! Without the paddlewheel you can still use the slalom mode because the speed is based off of the engine rpm. You can calibrate each person’s speed with a gps unit if not using a course.

Those guys pretty much stated it all. Ill add some ballpark prices based on past experiences: (Im not selling anything, just stating info)

Master Module (6.5ng)
Display Module ~$200
Servo Motor ~$180
Throttle Cable ~$35
Servo Power Wire ~$35
Master Module Power Wire ~$35
RPM Adapter ~40
Paddle Wheel Kit ~130

You can get individual pieces direct from perfect pass or from skier to skier. I find that skier to skier is usually a couple bucks cheaper, but mostly you save a ton of money on shipping since perfect pass has to ship international fedex.

You might also give Mike at MC of Charlotte a call. I've found his prices on Perfect Pass to be extremely competitive.
