I have never seen it in person, but have read about it a few times and I have seen some pictures. Those tilt trailers are pretty sweet, but dang are they $$$$. Guess $ does not really matter at that point though!

That is one incredible poker run boat. I am sure anyone that is on Cumberland during the first weekend of September will be seeing the boat getting ran hard!

Thanks Todd!

So why does the trailer tilt the boat? Is there a special reason? Is the boat that wide that inorder to get through someting narrow they would need to do this?

Exactly. The boats are over the legal width limit, so they tilt the trailers to allow the boats to be towed without a special permit. There are still boats that do not use the tilt trailers, but they can only travel at select times and require an "Oversized Load" or "Wide Load" banner at the front and back of the truck and trailer.

102" is the legal width. Anything over that is required to be permitted and then when you get to extreme situations escorts are required.

Seems like those tilt trailers would be bad for the engines. What about the oil in the block ect.

Would this need permits!?!?

I would not think there would me any problems with the oil and the block, as all these type of motors are a dry sump system....

There is a local girl who walks along the road that has to wear one of those signs on her butt!
I saw her one day at the grocery store at the check out and someones beeper went off and a kid started screaming, "Watch out, she's backing up"!!!!!!!

Wow!! Coolest thing close to me is a 32' foot fountain with twin 525sc's. Doctor owns it and says it will run 98 mph. They are constantly working on it.
