Installing new stereo

my original clarion XMD1 on my X7 crapped out so I bought a clarion CMD4. I thought it would just be a perfect fit for the factory slot...I was wrong. the original hole in the glove box is too big for the new deck. anybody have any good ideas on how to install it and still get the rubber seal to be watertight?

I cannot find a link anywhere, but Clarion did make an aluminum filler peice with double sided mounting tape to cover the hole from larger headunits. The filler was anodized black and worked great for me.

You can see the outline of it around the headunit in this pic
