X2 prop size......any suggestions

I noticed the new X2 comes with a 13.75x17.1 prop, down from last years 14x18. I was thinking of trying a new OJ 14x20 prop as I don't really load up on ballast, and do a lot of cruising. Any experience with this size prop on an X2 or other v-drives? Any noticeable change in top end speed or fuel usage?

Thanks in advance.

14 x 20 Prop

Hi Bonedoc,

I am down in Cochrane and have botha 14 x 20 OJ SS and also a 14 x 20 Acme prop that are both in perfect shape. I will be selling both of these props if your interested drop me a note. They are both the tapered shaft, not splined as my boat was a 2002.

My email is jpattigr@yahoo.ca if interested.

Both are great props and I did not find any difference between them mt self.

I'll post something Rick. I have the 14x20 and now a 541 to use when have chance to gather data on the existing 14x20 and then compare to the new 541.
