Steering

I have a 89 190 Prostar I need a part for the steering system Does any one know who it was made by. The local MC dealer said the boat is to old I dont want to replace the whole system it works fine Thanks john

Need LT-1 parts?
OIL FILTER: Factory installed is a Penzoil P23, Afta market brands, AC Delco PF-454 and a Fram PH-13 or PH-30 will work.
SPARK PLUGS: AC Delco MR43LTS (gapped to .040")
FUEL FILTERS: AC Delco 25171391 (pump inlet side)
89058397 (pump outlet side)
IGNITION WIRES: Call Inboard Online @ (877) 327-7175 and order part numbers 556010A (odd bank) and 556010B (even bank)

i have a 88 prostar powerslot and just put new steering in,,,,,new pumpkin and cables,,,way beyond my expectations,,,,,,,,,why drive with 20 yr old technology,,,
you will not be disappointed,,,,,,,,,go for it

Steering System

I think MC was still using the Steermaster system in '89. They are no longer available. I have some parts. What do you need?

Steering Part

I will try to post some pictures tomorrow My son has my camera I need the part that the steering shaft goes thru and goes thru the dash Its aluminum and held on by three Bolts to the steering box The little allen bolt came loose and stripped the aluminum
