I have and it is not too difficult if you have an engine hoist. You won't have to remove the engine from the boat, but rather support and lift the back of the engine a little. Once you slide the transmission off, it's a matter of unbolting the bellhousing and then the damper plate that is attached to the flywheel. Install is obviously reverse of removal. It's not hard, just be sure you have some help with the transmission, it weighs about 100lbs.

Martini is right on the money. Can be done in about 2 hours or less easily with the right tools. Make sure you line everything back up when you are done!
