Distributor clamp rubbing on fuel line question

I was installing a mgnetic replacement for the points in the distributor when i noticed that the distributor cap clamp rubs directly against the fuel line. I don't want to bend it out of the way and break something, but what is the recommended way of fixing this and avoiding unwanted fire?
