Gas Consumption and Prop selection

I was just reading through a prop thread and it got me thinking about gas consumption and props. Has anybody out there done any sort of study or informal test of using a low end wakeboard prop vs a standard prop on a x2 or xstar. by standard I mean the older 14 x18 that came on the x2 and xstars before 2007. I know their are alot of factors, weight, boat, how many times out of the hole etc..but was just wondering if anybody has any idea what you save by using the oj xmp wb prop or any other low end prop for that matter if you primarily wakeboard with a couple of thousand pounds of ballast.
