boat bumpers

We just purchased a new x2 and am curious on which style of boat bumpers we should get. Which ones seem to work the best? How many should we get?

Dumb question, any tricks on tieing them down?

I would say at least two, I have four, and don't get the short ones. My friend has these, and they seem to work better than the strait ones that I have.

Look into getting a "Hull Hugger" you will thank me later Basically, it is a dock bumber pad that comes in various lengths and heights and covers the entire side of your boat, yet folds up to about the size of a throwable cushion when not in use. I know that Overton's used to carry them.
Good luck.

i use the 6.5 x 20 with the covers ... make sure you put on covers so that they dont mess upyour decals. I keep 4 with me and use the cleats and the tower .. works great

6.5x20's with terry cloth or micro-fiber fender covers work incredible!

If you bought it new from the dealer go back and tell them to throw them in for you. My dealer gave me all that stuff with the baot.

Buy it from the dealer as I did. I got the bungee dock lines and big boat bumpers from them. Also you have a new boat buyers discount at that dealer if you got it at Midwest MC. I bought all my gear while I had that discount and it really saved a lot!!

I use them when floating up or when extra protection is desired but not when normal docking.
