Tower speaker/light install

I tried to find a previous thread concerning this, but was denied. Does any one have experience installing tower speakers that have lights in them? I have a 2002 - 209 with the factory tower - I bought the MC speaker/lights off of this forum. Dealer wants $680 for labor to install, so I am considering doing it myself. Any suggestions or help?

I installed speakers, lights, VHF antenna and an LED dome light on my 209 tower. All wiring is run through the tower. If you are experienced with fishing wires, it is not too difficult. Check out an X-9 to see how they drill the holes to route the wires around the tower leg hinge. Also pretty slick how the wires exit out the tower leg base and through the deck.

We are currently running the wires right now, already installed speaker wires.. Dealer just got us the lighting harness.. Pretty easy so far, just hate the drilling, results have been great so far.

We bought the wiring harnesses from Mastercraft, Worked for us,thoughy we were sent the wrong harnesses a few times. Will fill you in apon final results..

Dan C. nice boat, I like the color scheme. Do you have any updated pics with the speakers installed?

MTrask if you have any pictures that would be great, I would really like to see your results!

Thanks

Sorry no close ups. And they are not the factory speakers, so that is not much help.

i am terrible with electronics-i hung my speakers, fished the wires and let my mc dealer do the rest. it saved tons!

Completed Tower/Speaker system

We finished the system though I am a dummy when it comes to putting pictures on this web site. If you have any suggestions on how to add pictures let me know..

System went pretty smooth, We used all the precedures we could get from matercraft and had to ad lib some parts because the information was not very clear.. system went in smoothly, though it is time consuming, you need to have two people and some patience.
