My wife took a nasty face plant this weekend.
She is getting pretty good on the slalom and was practicing cutting across the wake. Well she started out great and hit the first wake. About half-way across the wake she just gave up. She came off the second wake and nosed the ske in. She hit the water in what I refer to as the stick em up position. Arms up as in both hands raised. I circled around quickly as I caught the mishap in the mirror. When she came up she was a bit dazed and couldn't see (I guess due to the sudden rush of water to the eyeballs). The insides of both arms were beat red also from smacking the water. From the boat it sounded like a loud clap when she hit the water.
She got in the boat, took a couple Tylenol (for the predicted headache) and was ready to go again, but it was time to head home.

Glad to hear she's ok.
I took a bad one at Mania.
I was on my way towards 3 ball and the bump took me down hard.
Knocked the wind out of me and my shoulder is still very sore...
Here's one that I snapped of Pilot at 3 ball.

Doesn't he know he's supposed to keep the ski, not his body, perpedicular to the boat.

That's a hard fall there. We all have sets like that.
