1997 Prostar 190 LT1

So I am sure there is already a thread somewhere about this but I'm going to ask the question anyways...

I am looking to clean up the decals on the boat this spring. I have a 1997 Prostar 190 LT1. Colors are black/gray/teal. I can either have decals cut for side, prostar, and transom or I am considering ordering the drip-molded decals and updating the boat a bit. What does everyone think of this and does anyone have any pics that I could see what it would look like in.

Thanks for the input!!!!

Only pics I had at this comp were on my cell... Just showing what decals I currently have and the colors...

I don't see what's wrong with the ones that are on there. If you decide to replace them, I'd try to keep it original. Check with C36 to see if he has the ones you need.

Your decals look to be in pretty good shape however if you want to change/update them there are many choices. If you do a search under the appearance section of the forum there is a ton of info on replacement decals and the molded lettering.

I considered going with the drip molded decals as well. Then I found out it was $400 for the kit!

I don't know what your local sign shop would charge, but I don't really think it's worth the extra cost, IMO.

Go for the stock decals. You have a sweet looking boat.
Remember hundreds of people see the outside of the boat, save the personal touches for the inside (its what you see most of the time)where the few can enjoy your personality.Just my 2 cents

I put the current MasterCraft stickers on the side of my SporStar to update it. I don’t think I have any pics of them on my boat, but I have collection of our hull with various decals. PM your email address and I will send them to you.
