Antique Water Skis

Does anyone else love riding the old skis? We are starting to get a good collection of Hydro-Flite skis togather. If you know anyone that has some and is thinking of getting rid of them let me know!

I ride these bad boys as much as i ride my slalom. (they are about 6 feet long! )

I used to ride my old wooden guy a bit more. When I got the Maherajah GS, it became my main alternate. The old woodie just gets used for instruction at this point.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I have couple of pair that are fun to ride as two. One has a ring on the tail that shoots up a roster tail of water.Isn't it funny how those old white/off white bindings feel like nothing now!

I have an old foil from the 1960s.

I believe their the old Dynaflite Hydrofoils by City Engineering in Indiana.

They were riden in a whiskey ad back in the 70s

If you ever get a chance to go to Wiley's Ski Shop in Seattle, their walls & ceiling are covered with tons of old skis, boards, etc.

had an old rijo nancy rideout model woodie that i finally got rid of last summer. tail rotted out. liked the ski and did not seem to throw as much water in my face while crusing as my kd3000 does. but..., does not have performance of kd either.
