LED Install Part 2

So here is the rest of the LED install I did. I tied all of the interior white lights to the storage switch and all of the blue LED's to the same source as the cup holder LEDs. Here is what I added:

White LED's:
- Anchor Storage
- Front Driver Storage
- Front Passenger Storage
- Under Spotter Seat
- Under Coffin Storage
- In front of the Cooler
- Rear Driver Locker
- Rear Passenger Locker

Blue LED's
-Under the in-boat rear grab handles
- Above the drivers feet
- The air intake on the back of the boat

All of the waterproof LED's were attached using their 3m backing but I also added clear silicone to both sides the entire length so they would never fall off. Total cost was about $50, but it definitely took some time. At night, it is like looking in the storage during the day, it's very bright. I was really please with how the grab rails turned out.

That looks great. Where the LED's pass the solid center of the bottom of the grabrails, how does it get through? Did you have to machine or drill there?

Also, where are you buying your LED's and what types are you using? I searched Part 1, but didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

I purchased all my LEDS from here: http://www.igoowoo.com/led-strip-wat...c001-p-89.html

The grab rails have a recessed section below that the strips of LED's fit into perfectly. To get through the fiberglass I only had to drill a 1/8" hole right below the grab rail where the recessed section is, so you can't see a thing.

As the sun set's the blue glow from the air intake looks pretty cool while boarding or surfing.

Does that recess go through the center part of the grab handle too? Our boat is 200 miles away and I can't go look. That is a pretty kick-azz set up. I need to get on it.
