wakesurfing

I see lots of stuff about wakeboarding, do any of you guy surf? I just bought an 07 X-15 and was hoping to get some idea of how to set the boat up as far as ballast goes. Any suggestions?

As much weight in the rear corner you are surfing on. Rub rail close to the water. Play with the speed. I hear the X-15 throws one of the best surf wakes in the MC line. Search and you'll find a lot of good info.

Does anyone know if I can get a decent surf wake with my 92 Prostar 190??

I found this post and I quote "we have a 1993 MC prostar 190 and we can surf with only about 400 pounds in one corner of the boat with the rear seat taken out... we just threw about 10 old waterbed sacks in and they work great..lol"

You should be OK with 3 guys like the guy on the back of the green boat in this thread Also, check out the water going over the rub rail on the 4th picture:

"Dear BlurpBlurpCraft, why is there nothing in my owners manual about getting my boat of the lake bottom?"

My 2000 PS195 threw a really nice solid cresting surf wake.
