88 Prostar Stereo cover

a friend asked me to post this...

On my 88 prostar there is a built in stereo cover that says Mastercraft. This cover is on hinges and it lifts up to access the stereo. It is made of plastic and it has broken at the hinges. I have tried to remove the pins in the hinges so I can try and super glue the cover back on to them but I can not figure out how to get the pins out. Does anybody know or have any suggestions? Also, is there anywhere I might find this cover if I end up needing to replace the broken one?

thanks again for your help.

West Marine, Boaters World, Overton's all carry them, just not MasterCraft labeled.
