the dummies that sank the cross ties there to hook to all they took w/ them was the railroad cross ties and rope and hooks for hooking up... a flotation system for the mooring system never crossed their mind... it's cool though... we're taking boat fenders back w/ us next trip in a couple of weeks... haha... funny story... they did in fact get the coke bottle out of the trunk of a guys car and found gold spray paint in there too (still haven't heard an explanation for that one) and 20 lbs test fishing line... mooring systems aren't readily available around here so i'm figuring the boat fender is the next best option... it's a really quiet lake w/ very little traffic... mostly crappie fishing after dark... its our own little "secret" spot... there usually about 4 boats that will meet up there on a Saturday (we're all kind of one group of friends so if one isn't there then none are)... and underwater island (if that makes any sense)... about 3-5ft deep in the middle of this lake... water is kind of sketchy sometimes but usually isn't too bad

It took me all summer to get some photos of my x2 but here it is.
We were just having too much fun behind it.
So I thought I would bring this thread foward again.

We just ordered an 09 x15. Looking at these x2's I think she should have ordered one of those. We love the pickle fork front. Great looking boats!

I always travel with tower folded down on long trips. It improves gas mileage greatly. Also you don't have to clean off the bugs. I put a 2 x 6 under the tower and tape it with duct tape as well as a soft towel under the 2 x 6 to protect the vinyl. That way the speakers don't touch the vinyl and the 2 x 6 distributes the weight across the whole back vinyl sunpad so no damage.

Short trips I leave the tower up.
