ok. you x-9 and pro star 209 owners that are hardcore skiers(doing the the course) and hardcore wakeboarders. honestly, how are the wakes for both? looking to buy one.

I understand your position, we're more skiers just with friends that are good wakeboarders. The slalom wake pretty much sucks, its ok; but you'll jump the wake if you cut that hard. The wakeboard wake, coming from a 190 is just monstrous. But the room and storage inside the boat is phenominal. You should check out the 214/X14 or the 205/X5 for better slalom wakes, or even the 197/X7. But the X9 should ride the best in choppy water.

If you are skiing the course, I would not get an X-9 - like ProTour said, the wake is hard and fairly big. However, it is a great all around boat - very versatile. It really depends on what is important to you.
