Need Wakeboard Fin Help

My son just started wakeboarding (9 years old). He has a Blindside D two wakeboard. There are 2 fins, one on each end. After using his cousin's board with 3 shallow fins on each end, he thinks the fins are too long. They are about 2.5" and 1.5" . I can't find any replacement fins that look like they would fit his board. Any suggestions? Thanks

does he just want them because his cousin has them?

my advice would be to remove the fins, he'll learn how to edge better and not rely on fins.

and his cousin will probably do the same thing to copy him after a few rides

I agree with tommcat. we would ride our older boards with out fins. our newer boards have molded in fins, and a metal fin. the metal fins are removed.
surface tricks are easier, and you learn to edge better.
