Doug, I am also very surprised.

It's tough parting with something that gave so much joy and great memories.

I sat in the garage next to my boat every night the week that I sold it drinking beer (sometimes also a shot or two of agave) and reminiscing.

I'm sure it will get a good home as it well deserves.

Keep us apprised as you move forward with the sale and also what your future plans are.

I have said this before, once "this thing" gets in you, it never leaves...

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

You're still welcome here to ski behind an ol' open bow pig whenever the spirit moves you.

Beautiful!

You didn't happen to see that add for the 1993 Red S&S with only 150 hrs on it did you?

I still look at the add but not sure if the boat is still available.

It did get my wheels turning but the price was too high.

Wow Doug . . . if I had the cash, I'd be all over your boat. How about an even trade for my '89 190, with the very rare Safe T Top! I'd even let you swap PP displays so you could have the big one. OK, maybe if mine looked more like Harold's 190!
You'll love having a closed bow for storage. Right now in my bow I have a boom, skylon, fat sacks, pump, kid's skis, trick skis, combos, 3 ropes, 4 orange life jackets, 4 bumpers, and I can fit my wakeboard in there if I need to. It is nice when I drive my cousin's open bow with the kids though, tough decision sometimes.
Good luck!!
Kevin

I've had some of the nicest PMs from people.

To answer a few questions.

1. We are fine. Thanks so much for asking. Our priorities are the same as always (family, inner peace, beer/boat, coffee, etc.) We are all well. It is incredible to know that there are so many people who care. So thanks for that.

2. I'm not going anywhere. They'll have to drag me from this place with fingernail scratches across the screen. We still have a MC in the family even after we sell this boat as my father in law has a beautiful 98 Pro Star 205. I'm looking forward to many more UMP polls about CCR and tube socks.

Oh, and Ric, just watch for me. I'm lurking outside your garage!
