%*^@# Teak is warped.

Noticed on my trip this last week that the left side of my platform is sitting lower than the right...brackets all look ok so my only conclusion is the damn thing warped over the winter (stored it upright in garage) .... or coulda been warped previously and just never noticed.

Anything to do to correct this a little?

Anyone have a fiberglass platform they want to part with on the cheap? Boat is black, tan and white.

We have to assume you are talking about the boat you have in your profile, right?

My platform sometimes appears that the left side is lower than the right. I noticed it when it was anchored. And boat was basically empty. But other times looks right. Could it be some sort of illusion? (Seriously) The platform seems to be straight, and the brackts, too.

Unless you took it off after a long period in the water, and set it up and it was in a bind, then it dried with a warp in it, I have no idea what caused it. I would suggest hanging it on the wall or laying it flat on the floor of the boat or garage, or just leaving it on the boat, but don't store it upright next Winter and see what does or doesn't happen. BTW, tighten all the screws in the platform too.

I considered at one time, removing all the screws and bolting mine together and to the brackets with about 3/4" Grade 8 zinc plated bolts, nuts and washers, but decided a little preventive maintenance was cheaper and more attractive. I would have made a great non-skid surface though.

Naw man, just jabbering some BS into a otherwise slow, dull and boring weekend here on TT. Don't be offended, just roll with the flow and add to it, makes it more fun. Weekdays, most everyone is on here and you can pick and choose what you want to do, but weekends afford me the ability to post and do some things that I can't during the week, by answering some real questions being asked, uploading stuff I have stored, yet once in a while I personally need to laugh about something. If you take this place too seriously, it will drive you freakin' nuts, Just look at UMP!

Now it's time for me to go work on organizing my "Ignore List"!

Seriously, laying it on a flat surface would tell you if it was you or the platform quickly.

I've never heard of platform warp but guess it could happen.

Exceptionally strong and durable, remaining smooth to the touch, immune to warp and rot, teak furnishings last for decades through bright sun, rain, snow and a wide range of seasonal temperatures.
