Sourcing new Trailer

Currently looking for trailer for 1980 MC and not having any luck. Only two options right now are a local company for $3600 cdn or EZ Loader for $3100cdn.(previous owner had boat lift and never had a trailer)

With current regs, the trailer has to have brakes and 3600 lbs axle.
Bite the bullet and buy new or look elsewhere? Suggestions where to look? Winnipeg winters are hard and fast approaching.

I have seen a few come and go on ebay for $1000 us or less. Most were in the TN area.

You could tie in the trip to TN to pick up the trailer with a tour of the factory.

The ones I saw listed were for newer 190's and 205's. They would need some rework to fit your 80, but shouldnt be too tough.

Saw a few on Ebay as well but going to get them with the cost of fuel would almost equal a new trailer. Already pulled off a monsterous last minute roadtrip to Atlanta with borrowed trailer to get the boat. Doesn't appear to be a cheap and easy way out.
Thanks.

Don't borrow a trailer to go to Atlanta, buy one on the way down and combine your trip.

Had a small window to go and get the boat, not enough time to source a used trailer. Put a deposit on new trailer today, boat was cheap so trailer cost is somewhat acceptable.
Thanks.
