Well guys it is snow here north of Minneapolis right now. On the bright side the ice is out about a week earlier than last year.

They way you guys are posting about snow and ice would lead some of us to think you live in Siberia!

Well-my lake has been frozen from November 24 to April 29. It sure feels that bad at times. Good news is I put my gear in the water the evening after the ice went out. 39F and a wintery mix. Fun

Got the first three sections of my dock in today . Nice to see the shoreline beginning to look like summer again . If it hits sixty this weekend we are skiing .

Flooding From Wednesday

Really bad floods after getting over 5" of rain in less than 24 hours.
This is the spot where a lot of us enjoy skiing on the Schuylkill river north of Philadelphia.

It will take some time until the river gets back to normal

Man....I wish I was closer. We are finally going to open the cottage this week-end, and it is still at 31 on Thursday night. The days are fine...mid to upper 60's. It is good though to finally be there for open water. I AM ready.

Snipe,
I finally bought a good full wet suit last season and it was the best decision I ever made. Basically now when the ice goes out I can jump right in instead of always waiting until the end of May. Oneil Guru 3/2!!
