Well everyone, the weather people are calling for snow tonight and in the morning here in Central and Western NC, with a accumulation of about 1", after a week in the high 60's.
Looks like I'll have to put snow tires on the garbage can in the morning and I heard they're salting the streets around the soup kitchen and putting chains on all the trains up at the rail yard.

We are supposed to get a dusting of snow but nobody is paying any attention. Winter is getting old, but there is still more than 30 inches if ice on the lakes, so it might be a while before the ice goes out.

Well, so much for the Blizzard of '09 3.0! Got up this morning @ 5:30 and there wasn't a cloud in the sky!
