My underwater gear was that polished, only it was Brass, and I did ALL the polishing MYSELF! None of this factory stuff!

Thanks. Ya she had some pretty tough hours put on her. I remember in the 95-97 range going out to Soda Lakes and skiing sets behind her, and wishing I could afford to buy her. She's got the life of luxury now. Gets skied behind and lots of polish

Jason your ProStar is way cleaner than mine ever could be, and don't forget yours is very unique in it's own right with the Hull ID stamped upside down! Man that reunion was sure fun. Guess we need to set one up again this coming year!

That is a sweet ride. My first love is still my 8, but little brother's 93 S&S 190 is a close second. Those are some great boats. Fun to think of all the big names on the tour at that point who would have skied behind it. Only thing I can think of that would make it better is if it had an autograph on it.

Are those the original MasterCraft graphics for the 93? I thought the 93 had old style graphics with star in the C?

LOL! If that ski was any indication of value with an autograph, then my boat would be worth $200K

Juiced190,
Good catch. I am not sure if anyone noticed this in the past. The answer is yes, and no. Originally the tour boats had the correct 93 side decals. After a few tour stops, MasterCraft realized that font was too hard to read on TV, and switched the sides and transom to the block letters. I have since switched the transom from the block lettering back to the 93 font; but will leave the sides as they were on the tour.

Dave, a new reunion would be GREAT! I miss them! Lets put our heads together after the new year and see what we can come up with.

And Thanks! Its certainly is a one of a kind mistake. Even to the folks I spoke with from MC. BTW, my boat saw ski team duty for a few years. VT ski team to be exact.

As Dave said, in the beginning they did use factory font. Then switched to large font for a very long time.

[quote=Waterskibum;993692]Wow I missed this thread back in the day too. So here is my 93 S&S, and yes it is the real ProTour boat (one of two in existence) that pulled the tour in 93. At the end of the tour MasterCraft offered them to the dealers, and we (Tommys Slalom Shop) snapped them up. We sold one of them right away, and kept the other one. Spent it's time at Soda Lakes ski school. I wanted one of them badly; but being just out of college and working two jobs, it was not gonna happen.
Fast forward to 2005 and miracles happen. JJ had it up for sale, I snagged it and had it transported to Florida.
2007 she got a cosmetic restoration. Motor was all cleaned and painted. Chromed all the underwater gear and lots of motor parts. Changed over to MCX manifolds, 3" exhaust with stainless tips. Trailer got a new torsion axle, completely rewired with LED lights, sandblasted and powder coated, new bunk carpet, and chrome decals.
Next on deck is new carpet and some interior replacement. Santa is bringing me a Stargazer so that is going in for Spring.
Being married with a family now does not afford me too much skiing time; but there is always next season.

That's one sexy boat!!!
