Trailer Lights

HELP,

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT round trailer plug, I also have a 2005 bayliner 175 on a caravan trailer, its has a 4 pin plug , so I purchased a converter for the round to the 4 pin unit, all the car lights are working find. My issue is the left break right break light does not light, I can put flicker light on and it will flash, but wont work if the break is applied. Just the left side will show the break is applies.
