Sorry Mark P I really don't have any specific info on the subject,I talk to him acouple times a week. I will get some details by next week if you want.I've had several Fords myself never had any tranny problems.But my father inlaw went though two e40d trannys in his last f250.

That could go either way, (not necessarily gay).

You're right Sizzler, and once about tranny's is enuf! That word should really be on the banned list.

Guess around here there are transmissions and there are trannys!

I used to work at Ford. I won't buy anything with a modern Ford powertrain in it. Get the tranny (oops, transmission) hot once and it's downhill from there. A couple years ago we pulled my 190 down to Lake Cumberland and back - about a week later the truck was in the shop getting a new one put in. About a month after that repair he got a notice about some 01 F150s w/trailer tow packages not getting trans coolers installed in the plant. Oops...

I'll leave it with that as many friends and ski buddies work there.
