Hey, I talked to the Ford mechanic today when I picked up an 86$ fog light replacement for the 04 Explorer. He told me the Fs had no problem. Also told me a recall was coming out on the explorer, something about the fluid that they used was not compatible with the new electronic valves in the 04 Explorer.

Geez, I really feel out of date with the '87 Suburban and '97 Blazer..
http://www.tmcowners.com/photopost/s...cat=507&page=2 But Doug, I agree with you. The Suburban is a great tow vehicle.. This one's been up to the top of Dunraven Pass (9,000 ft above Sea Level) in 90 degree heat, pulling that trailer fully loaded with 3 weeks' supplies and the temp gauge never left dead centre.

Here's my workhorse in Acadia National Park. It's no Defender, but it's one of the last "REAL" Land Rovers. I have a spot saved in the gargae next to the MC for the day I can finally get another D90.

Love it jsonova99...
This is my 99 D2. Everything but ACE and rear air. My go anywhere vehicle. A D90 would be nice... Are you a member of discoweb?

I was a member of discoweb, but for a while there I couldn't get on it. I probably haven't been on the site in about a year. Is it up and running? I have my discoweb stickers! I had a '95 D90 wagon for a while, but for some reason I got rid of it, still trying to figure out what I was thinking. I went with an older MC so that I could afford another one in a few years.

my first tow vehicle was a 1970 110 safari station wagon..12 seater with full length roof rack and over-drive....awesome carrying ability, but could only manage 50-60 mph on the flat with the barefoot 200 behind it......going up hill was a nightmare..the q of cars behind was a joy to behold.......it was lime-green and we dipped our feet in pink paint and walked all over it....rebellious or what(hahaah).....
must try and down/upload some pics ![]()
