Not a chance. My 1500 barely fit under

It's 87". It will be very close with a 6.5" lift. i bet if you went with 35" tires you might have a chance. My garage is also 7ft and my last 2500HD had a 6" lift with 33" tires and i parked it in the garage every night!

Agreed, the notion of trail riding/crawling in a new fullsize is nuts. I managed to dent the bottom of both passenger side doors of my old 2500 ferrying in some chainsaws/gas/etc. on an old logging trail/access road at a place we trail ride. That was a one time experiment...

I guess it's a dry climate vs. (relatively) wet climate thing, but I do use 4wd regularly on my big trucks. Typically it's maneuvering a heavy trailer in a field or similar. Heck, I've used it on an extremely silted up boat ramp before.

What I don't personally understand is the 2wd lifted truck thing...Like a MC with a tower full of Wetsounds and no amplifiers. Exception being the prerunner style truck guys--they might get a "pass"!

I built a prerunner, so I kind of get a pass lol.

the lifted 2wd thing is purely for looks. I think once you lift a truck you really negate any offroading ability whether its 2wd or 4 anyways, unless youre a sister-kissing mud bogger.

Aric how did you like those Toyo Open Country R/T's? Been eyeing those as I don't need a true mud-terrain tire but want something a little more aggressive looking then a straight all-terrain.

I run a set and love them. They are a little louder than the at2.. kinda a light mud tire sound. Balanced great and I have about 5k on mine with no Ill effects

I loved the RTs. I've got ridge grapplers now and they're even quieter!

i've got nitto terra grappler g2s and their great. sounds like the ridge grapplers are better in the mud, snow, and happen to be quieter.

I run the R/T's on my truck. The best tire I've used to date.
