They were usually pretty beat up and probably never was washed or waxed their whole life.

but seeing the one above, brings back fond memories as my dad was always a hotrod nut, he custom ordered a blue/white (like above) 1969 3/4 ton single cab long bed with 375hp 396, turbo 400, posi 373, factory headers (no a/c, only am radio) as his work truck. It ran like a scalded ape and sounded even better.

The factory never made them. They were all aftermarket conversions. That one is sweet. I would sell my truck in a heartbeat for that beast.

I feel as if I either need to upgrade the rims or the boat....either way here's a pic of them together for the first time. Unbelievable how well the Allison 6 spd and the extra 65 some odd horses tow!

Obligatory perspective shot/photo to emphasize importance of BOAT (size enhanced for her pleasure)

Altright let's update that to "Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission" my sincere apologies for the mis comm... unintentionl. I just assumed it was the allison. The HP upgrade should be the only thing causing you issue now?

Anything else I need to defend?

Thanks for helping put it straight.
