North Bound and Down!

We are heading up to Tomahawk, Wi tomorrow at the crack of dawn. Loaded up and ready to roll!

2005 F250 SD CC 6.0oh-no Diesel 4x4 with an Artic Cat 400 in the bed. Two yacks on the roof and a boat full of goodies (and fishing gear and etc.... no we don't fish from the MC; we use my pop's fishing boat)

Vacation starts NOW. Coronas all around.

That picture just speaks to me...HD/diesel pickup, lots of gear on/in the truck, and a classic in tow. Have a great vacation!

Perfect vacation rig!
6.0-no is a great motor once it is studded and EGR deleted!

My bad timing. I will be there next weekend. No MC . . . . I will be in a musky fishing tournament.

Seems like we miss each other every year, we could have used a spotter! We are heading up again in mid-august. PM me if you are heading that way again this summer.

The 6.0 actually has been pretty decent (once I did the heads, egr, ensure we use the right coolant, oil, etc; Good thing it was still under warranty when it was done!); I do have to do the brakes every year or two but I tow a lot and am not kind to them when loaded in chi-town traffic when racing in Michigan. Also has a 4" straight exhaust. I thought it would be too loud in the cab but when inside, you can barely hear it. Outside the whistle and growl is a bit loud

It tows like a beast. I tow the 32' enclosed living quarters trailer (about 10,000 pounds loaded - behind the rig in the picture) at 60 - 70 MPH (can actually go as fast as you want to go) and average 13-15 MPG!;

Just hope it behaves today!
