@Covi, nice truck. We have a 2011 Ram 1500 Sport and love it. We have had no issues and it after 50,000km, and it tows our X15 well. The gas mileage drops significantly with the boat behind but that is to be expected. The only thing that we need to do it put some new tires on it. The stock goodyears suck in the snow and we got tons this year

Thats funny you say that. I am probably going back to gas on my next truck. The new diesels suck for fuel economy and you pay a huge premium for the engine. Makes no sense anymore to go diesel unless your towing over 11K.

It just sucks that I only get about 9-10 mpg when towing. The 5.7 sucks down the gas. When the boat isn't hooked up, I still only get about 12.5 mpg.

I get 14 empty and 11 towing with my 2012 Cummins or my 2011 Powerstroke. Plus the fuel cost more.

I will be curious to see what diesel packages they come out with for the 1500 sized trucks. They claim the the motors will be close in price to gas. I will be waiting to see what type of mPg they are at

No they don't look at the Diesel adder for the Jeep GrandCherokee. Its as much as a Diesel in a pickup, then theres the adder for the 8 speed trans. Not good.
