'65 8Hp Wheel Horse and the '76 MC still in winter gear.

I'll work on getting a real tow vehicle/ rig pic this summer.
Hey, I also use a Wheel Horse to move my boat around the driveway/garage. Don't mind the brand of the boat.

All with 30,000 miles. Had flashbacks of being in the shop for electrical gremlins......so we returned it and got the Lexus 400h. Not nearly as exciting as the X5.

Nice setup and color combo.
Thanks!!! I got the X5 for a screaming deal "lease return" the dealer could not sell it because it was a stick. I laughed.
They let me take it for the weekend and all they did was copy my drivers license. I fell in love with it.

I now have 249,000 miles it.

That's awesome and what a deal! 249k......very nice. They sure drive nice but also handle decent too. And you can tow. Our 400h hybrid is quick in a straight line but don't ask it to take a corner....or tow anything. Maybe next time the X5 will be in our cards. But for some reason, I like the older style (yours). Also, no NAV on yours. Probably a sweet move. Their system was pretty old and non-intuitive (I'm not saying the Lexus is that much better either, but a little).

Yours is 4.4 correct? Not the 4.8 (or 4.6)?

Pretty sure a 5 speed manual in an X5 was only available when linked with the 3.0L I6.
Still, it's pretty rare to see a 5 speed manual in an X5 in the states.

Correct: I have a 3.0. 6 cylinder.
The 3.0 stick has a 6500lb tow capacity.
The automatic has a 6000lb tow capacity.
It has done me right

I should have got a pic but didn't....We are having an In His Wakes event tomorrow at our lake. Texas Mastercraft was very nice to loan us a brand spanking new boat for the event. Problem was that I was pushing it to pick up my 11 year old from school so the rig and boat went through the car pool line at his school! People were hating on me but I was beautiful!

And you got style points for your 11-year old, which isn't always bad. Stay cool for another year or so. I picked my 12-year old son up from middle school the other day in the Shelby and all his friends were yelling nice car----he gets in and looks at me and says "thanks dad, that always helps".....

Fat ladies kept pulling up and asking if they could go....I just smiled and let them drive off and said to my lean wife...we got ballast!

Nice X-5 and S&S. That's a Real nice Luxurious setup. Does your have the self leveling device?

Reminds me of my old one: 2000, 4.4, X-5, 19" Wheels...
