Touareg Vs new Grand Cherokee
Long story short, some idiot teen girl ran a red light and T boned my Explorer last week with her parents beast of a caddy seville. I'm ok but the truck was declared a total loss so i'm in the market for a new SUV.
The only two SUVs i'm seriously considering are a 2011 Jeep grand Cherokee (i really like its new body style) and an 08-11 VW Touareg. I test drove both and have to say the Touareg is awesome- Aesthetically and drivabilty wise which is making it the front runner. Plus with 7700 lb tow capacity, i know I can get a bigger boat and this thing could pull it. I know there are a few Touareg owners out there so is there anything i should know or look for if I get one? I'd rather not fork up 50k for a new one which is why i'm ok with an 08-10 w/ low miles. Diesel vs V6 pro's cons? Must have options? electrical issues, etc? Thanks..
