Terrible picture but finally remembered to take one when I got back in from the lake tonight. I'll get a better one next weekend. Overkill power for the boat but all that means is I won't have to get a new truck when I upgrade the boat...

We used to get houseboats out of Kellers Ferry and beach in a nice cove across from Hunters. It is very well protected cove with nice beaches.
Now that we all have RV's we stay at Two Rivers Resort. If we are looking for great water we head up the Spokane River and we are heading back for the weekend of July 23-24.

We did the same Forrest until they went out of business. Was a bummer too, they were the most reasonably priced albeit their boats were pretty old. Never bothered us though. 14 years we went there. Dakota Columbia out of Seven Bays is nice, but man they're expensive and in my opinion have really weird date structures where you end up having to leave and return on odd dates (= more vacation days). This will be our 2nd year renting out of Two-Rivers. We've never been very far up the Spokane, how is it? Always figured there was way more people. We'll be there July 21st - 25th.

That's great - we will be staying at Two Rivers at the same time and then Banks in August. Who is following who? We are heading to Two Rivers on July 21st as well.

Only been up the Spokane a few times and we have found great water just past the state park and before the rock formations. The rock formations make me a little nervous since my not so great experience at Lincoln Rock years ago. The one thing to be aware of is the floating sticks. Two years ago there were lots of floaters.
If you don't head to far up lake in the houseboat maybe we will see ya on the lake.
